AGENDA and MINUTES

 

  1. Chair's Welcome

Michele thanked the new and re-elected committee members for volunteering.  Noted that all 2008 committee members stood for re-election.

  1. Apologies for absence

Apologies were received from Steve & Angie Grant and Paul Ashley.

  1. Minutes of last meeting

Fran proposed that they should be adopted as correct, Chris seconded. Minutes agreed.

  1. Matters arising

Allan confirmed the FITASC had been arranged for 31st May at Lakenheath.  Double Rise had to move to Northampton after Mike Williams withdrew his application.  Allan will ask Martine to hold competition later in the year and perhaps more targets, and possibly even get the layout registered.

  1. Correspondence received

CPSA HQ asked for details of committee members, which Allan will provide/

  1. Treasurer’s Report

2008 had a surplus of £238.  So the 2009 opening balance was £966, now down to £770.  If this year’s outgoings are the same as last years, then this will be sufficient to cover the expenditure even if we receive no income!

  1. Matters arising from AGM

Rod Gifford still needs a Champion of Champions keepsake. Michele is in correspondence in order to establish an appropriate form for the keepsake, as Rod has won it so many times now we don’t want to just repeat previous ones.

  1. Appointment of team managers

The committee volunteered, agreed and suggested as appropriate that the following committee members would act as team managers and/or do presentations at the individual championships:

Malcolm is happy to be the point of contact for this; individual badges for 2009 are already in hand.  He will be sending this out (or arranging to meet up with) those doing the presentations at the championships.

Webmaster to do. Team managers and trophy presenters to send reports where possible to webmaster.

  1. Date of next meeting

Bob to arrange: 29th May at Country Pursuits.  Shoot first, ask questions later.  Shooting from 6pm, meeting from 8pm.

  1. AOB

Web sponsorship: suggestion of sponsorship of individual competitions.  To follow last year’s pattern.
